Colts-Texans Recap

Colts Recap

The Colts were winning 23–9 with 3 minutes to go, ESPN giving them a 99.3% chance of winning the game and they blew it. Their defense just couldn’t come through and make a stop at the end and they ended up losing 26–23 in OT. Luck played decent 252 yards a TD and a INT. Frank Gore played great, as he was the first Colts RB to rush for more than 100 yards in a game since 2012. The defense did not play well at all. There was no pass rush besides Mathis at some points, nobody could tackle and every single safety seemed to get injured. Colts really have to turn it around soon if they want to make the playoffs.

Fantasy

Luck had a solid but not great game with 252 yards and a TD. Frank Gore rushed for over 100 yards which could lead to more carries in the future. The targets were mostly shared between TY Hilton, Chester Rogers, Dwayne Allen, and Jack Doyle. Phillip Dorsett has not gotten the boost in targets expected from Donte Moncrief’s injury however Moncrief will be back soon which should lead to good things for the offense. Adam Vinatieri was Mr. Reliable and has made 41 straight field goals, one away from the NFL record.
