Colts-Texans Preview and Prediction

Colts Preview

After an 0–2 start the Colts come into this week’s game against the Texans having won 2 of their past 3 games and have a chance to take the division lead with a win. Andrew Luck has started off the season with a bang as he has a 10 to 3 TD to INT ratio. TY Hilton and Frank Gore have also played great to begin the season as TY has 3 straight games with a TD and Gore has at least 3 games with 70+ all purpose yards. To beat the Texans, the defense needs to greatly improve from last week, as the Texans will run and pass all over the Colts and most likely win as they have much more talent than the Bears did.

Fantasy
There are 3 Colts who are must starts for this week. Andrew Luck who has been on a tear this year, TY Hilton who has historically dominated against the Texans, and Adam Vinatieri who had a monster game against the Bears and has been the definition of perfection. I’d consider starting Gore as a flex but only in deeper leagues as the Texans have good run defense. The Colts don’t really have a second option that they go to consistently in the passing game as the targets have been going to a combination of Dwayne Allen, Jack Doyle, Phillip Dorsett, Quan Bray, and Chester Rogers. None of these guys are that fantasy relevant at the moment.

Prediction: Colts 32 Texans 27
